This notice applies to the Smallhop AI website at smallhopai.com. Smallhop AI is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
What you send us through the contact form
If you use the contact form, we receive what you type: your name, your email address, and your message, plus your business name, phone number, and the kinds of help you select if you choose to provide them. We also record which page of this site you sent it from.
The form is handled by Netlify, the company that hosts this website. Your submission is sent to Netlify, stored in their system, and emailed to us as a notification. Netlify processes it on our behalf, and it is kept there until we delete it. Netlify is based in the United States, so the information you send is processed there.
We use what you send only to reply to you and, if you ask us to, to discuss working together. We do not sell it, share it with anyone for their own marketing, or add you to a mailing list without asking you first.
How we keep the form from being abused
The form includes a hidden field that automated programs tend to fill in. Anything entered there means the submission is treated as automated and discarded.
Netlify also screens every submission for spam using Akismet, a service operated by Automattic. To do that, the contents of your submission and technical details of the request are shared with Akismet. Submissions Akismet flags are held separately rather than sent to us, which means a genuine message is occasionally held by mistake.
No CAPTCHA is used, and the form does not ask you to solve a puzzle to reach us.
What the website itself collects
This site does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing pixels, and it does not set cookies of its own. Like any website, the company that hosts it may keep standard server logs (such as the address a request came from, the page requested, the time, and the browser type) for security and operational purposes, for a limited period, under that provider’s own policies.
The site’s fonts are served from the same place as the site, so no font provider receives information about your visit.
How long we keep it
A message stays in Netlify’s form storage, and in our email, for as long as we need it to respond to you and keep a record of our conversation. If you would like a message deleted, use the contact page on this site and we will remove it from both unless we have a legal reason to keep it.
Your choices and questions
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you at any time. To do any of those, use the contact page on this site. This site is intended for business inquiries from adults; it is not directed at children.
Changes to this notice
If the way this site works changes, for example if we add a scheduling tool or analytics, this notice will be updated before that change goes live, and the review date above will change with it.
